**Spoiler Alert** The third book of the Ron Raven series ties up the loose ends caused by the "death" of Ron Raven from the first episode. Although the novel is a good read and has Cresswell's usual mix of romance and suspense, the ending needs a little bit of work. After finally discovering Ron Raven is still alive and that Uncle Paul is skum, the ending is anticlimactic. Okay, readers can figure out early on in the book that Ron's alive and Paul is bad... 400 pages does not need to be allotted to figure this out. However, Payback is still a great novel and hard to put down- even if the readers knows how the book is going to end. 04.06.08

After exploring just about everyone in Ron Raven's extended family, you'll never believe how Jasmine completes this trilogy. I don't want to say too much to ruin the first two books in the series, but expect murderous threats and romance! These three books are a guilty pleasure. 04.03.08
