Author Review

Author's Re-occurring Characters

Memoirs of a Geisha

Published by Vintage Contemporaries 1997

I have read this book numerous times, so I was surprised when, writing this review, I noticed that the author was male. The female characters in this novel are so multidimensional and realistic that I never even considered that a man could be the writer. Moving on, if you have see the movie and not read the book, you are seriously missing out. Although I enjoyed the movie and found it to be beautiful, it is incomparable to the original book. This is a must read. Now, turn off your computer, get in your car, and go buy it! Even better, order it from Amazon.com through Krucknotes.com. 12.15.08
