Author Review

I put Brad Thor's books in the category with John Lescroart and Robert Ludlum. However, I like Brad Thor's books better. Thor's imagery is brighter, more vivid. 12.20.08

Scott Harvath

Path of the Assassin

Published by POCKET BOOKS, a division of Simon & Schuster 2003
Characters: Scot Harvath, Meg Cassidy

This book keeps you on your toes. As soon as you think it's safe another adventure begins. I highly recommend this book and all Brad Thor's books. This somewhat continues after The Lions of Lucerne. Scot Harvath is on his own trying to find the bad guys responsible for killing the Secret Service agents in Lions, when his expertise is called on to help in another mission. One where he has to report to Rick Morrell - but he and Rick don't necessarily get along. During the mission there are moments when you hold your breath (mostly involving Meg Cassidy - some when she is smart and one when she messes up) and moments when you smile, like involving the CIA agent Avigliano. 12.20.08
